ABOUT US

A three-day literary, arts & community festival hosted by local independent bookstore Greedy Reads, The Lost Weekend is a celebration of the vibrant and unique creative culture that makes Baltimore the ‘City That Reads’.

Since the Covid-19 pandemic, literary events have nearly disappeared:  The Lost Weekend’s mission is to reignite the spark. By uniting the best of Baltimore’s literary voices and creative talent with the city’s most celebrated food and drinks vendors, this weekend is designed specifically for our community – a community who are insatiably curious, hungry for stories, and unapologetically politically and culturally engaged.

ABOUT GREEDY READS

Greedy Reads is your friendly neighborhood independent bookstore. Woman-owned, the first store opened in Fells Point in Baltimore in 2018, and a second in Remington in 2019. Books in both locations are carefully (obsessively) selected by the owner, a 20-year veteran of the publishing industry.

We love books, bookstores, readers, and shopping local.

SPONSORSHIP & SUPPORT

All help honors the work of local authors, and supports the talents of the Baltimore creative and cultural community.

We are committed to keeping The Lost Weekend free and accessible to all attendees, and affordable to small vendors. Any financial sponsorships above what we’ve put into the event will be donated to local youth arts and literacy organizations.
